An ultrasonic cleaner is a cleaning device that uses ultrasound (usually from 20-400 kHz) and an compatible cleaning solvent (sometimes ordinary tap water) to clean delicate items. The ultrasound can be used with just water, but use of a solvent compatible for the item to be cleaned and the soiling enhances the effect. Cavitation bubbles are induced by the agitation and act on contaminants. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses.
Filter Resources uses ultrasonic filter cleaning to remove built up particulate from filters. This enables a prolonged life at a significantly lower cost than a new filter cartridge. Ultrasonic filter cleaning is not only a cost savings but also offers a fast turnaround of the filters to ensure the least amount of down time possible.
