Wire cloth filters are generally used in those environments where high temperature, high differential pressure, chemical compatibility issues, high contaminant loading and viscosity stress create a need for durable and oftentimes cleanable filters.
Wire cloth filters are available from Filter Resources in pleated cartridge, cylindrical cartridge, radial fin filter and or panel filter configurations. Materials of construction range from 300 series stainless steel to exotic alloys such as Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy C and Titanium with micron ranges from 5 to 5,000.
The majority of these wire screen filters are fabricated by Filter Resources' in-house fabrication facility.
Filter Resources holds a patent on pleated wire filters for delayed coker unit (DCU) applications involving corrosive, high temperature, high contaminant loaded heavy coker gas oil (HKGO).
